Real estate AI, answered straight.
Questions NZ agents
ask us most.
What is real estate AI, and what can it actually do for a New Zealand agent?
In practice it is AI voice agents and automations that do the repetitive contact work an agent never gets to. The three that move the needle for NZ agents are: calling every open home visitor within the follow-up window and reporting back who is hot, ringing an appraisal enquiry back within seconds instead of hours, and watching your territory for listings coming off the market. Everything runs on the tools and numbers you already use.
How does the AI follow up open home visitors?
Everyone who signs in at your open home gets a short call, usually under three minutes, inside a calling window you set (for example 9am to 7pm on weekdays). If they do not pick up it tries again about an hour later, then once more the next working day. The AI asks what they are actually after, which suburbs, budget, timeline, finance position, and whether they have a property to sell first, then hands you a ranked list: hot buyers, buyers for similar properties, and sellers hiding in your buyer pool.
Does the AI say it is an AI?
Yes. It introduces itself as an AI assistant working for your agency, never implies it is the licensed agent, explains where it got the number (they gave it at the open home sign-in), and stops immediately if someone asks not to be contacted. It does not give legal or financial advice. That is deliberate: NZ vendors and buyers respond better to a straight answer than a bot pretending to be a person.
What happens when I miss a call?
Missed calls are the most expensive thing in real estate: the caller rings the next agent. AI reception answers when you cannot, day or night, captures the enquiry, and books the appointment. If someone rings back the number later, the AI already knows who they are and picks up the conversation in context rather than starting again.
Can it help me find listings that are about to come off the market?
Yes. We monitor listing activity across your territory and detect when a property leaves the market without selling, rather than guessing from days-on-market alone. That gives you a list of owners who have just had a disappointing campaign, plus a postcard and QR flow that lets them request a no-obligation appraisal in one tap, which then triggers a qualifying call.
Does it replace my CRM or my agency's systems?
No. It sits alongside them. Contacts come in from a CSV, a Google Sheet, your open home sign-in or your CRM export, and results flow back out the same way, so your CRM stays the source of truth. We are not asking you to move your database or learn a new system mid-campaign.
What does real estate AI cost in New Zealand?
It is scoped per agency rather than sold off a rate card, because a solo agent running two open homes a month and a 30-agent office are different builds. Calling is priced per completed call, so it scales with your listings instead of being a flat licence you pay whether you list or not. We quote after a free audit, and only where the time or commission it recovers clearly outweighs the cost.
How long until it is live?
Most builds go live within one to three weeks of go-ahead, depending on how your contacts arrive and how many numbers need provisioning. The open home follow-up is usually the fastest thing to switch on, because it needs nothing more than your sign-in list.
