Jared is a mechatronics engineer (BE Hons, University of Auckland) and former control systems engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, where he designed automated production systems, programmed 6-axis robots and built real-time fault reporting interfaces. In 2023 he founded Jared Lean Digital, helping trades, property and service businesses establish their online brands and build and manage their lead flow. Since January 2026, through Fiord AI, he builds the AI and automation systems that answer every call, follow up every lead and hand business owners their time back.
Jarod started in the trades as a carpenter, then moved into technology and became Head of Technology at Parihoa, where he led AI, project management and systems architecture. In 2022 he founded EaseTech, building AI agents, automation systems and decision engines for businesses across New Zealand. That hands-on path from job sites to production code gives him a practical understanding of how businesses actually operate, where bottlenecks form, and how the right systems create real results. He co-founded Fiord AI in January 2026 with Jared to bring that same practical approach to more businesses.
